– Delegates to the State Convention – Each county party sends delegates to the State Convention to vote on the Democratic Party of Wisconsin’s platform and resolutions. This is a very important role as it helps shape the future direction of the state party. We have 25 spots open for Washington County delegates. PLEASE take note that the upcoming school board election on Tuesday, April 3rd will have a MAJOR effect on the West Bend Public Schools. Please vote. Please talk to your colleagues about voting. Please talk to your friends, neighbors, and family members about voting. This election IS the future of public education in West Bend.

Update: If you were not able to attend the candidate forum for the West Bend School
Board or view it live on TV onTuesday, March 27, the forum is being
rebroadcast on Community Cable TV (Charter channel 99 or 987).
I think you will find it interesting from a number of vantage points.
The rebroadcast schedule is as follows:

Wednesday, March 28 – 7:00 p.m

Friday, March 30 – 7:00 p.m.

Sunday, April 1 – 6:00 p.m.

The 2012 Democratic Convention will be held during the week of September 3rd in Charlotte , NC . Wisconsin will send 111 delegates to the Convention.

If you want to be considered for one of these seats, you have to participate in the county caucus that will be held at the party office, 132 N. Main St. , West Bend on April 15th.

Registration will take place from 12 noon to 2:00 PM.

The caucus will begin promptly at 2:00 PM.

In order to be considered for a delegate seat you must obtain a Statement of Intent and Pledge of Support form from the DPW website and mail it in to DPW Headquarters in Madison so that it is received by April 6th.
