UPCOMING EVENT: Community Forum on Alternative Energy

Please join us on January 26th, from 7:00 to 8:30 PM at the Wash Dem Office at 132 North Main Street in West Bend for a presentation on “Alternative Energy.”

Paul Thomas, an Ozaukee County resident and former teacher, will share his story which starts with wanting to save money and ends with creating a life away from fossil fuels.

The presentation will include: “What options are applicable in this region?” “How can you inexpensively start the alternative energy path?” and “Why would you want to leave fossil fuels in the ground?”

This presentation is meant to give you a spectrum of ideas on how to utilize the world of alternative energy—as opposed to a pitch to abandon all civilized life.

Come join us and learn more about everyday ways to reduce fossil fuel use.

LinsmeierDecember 18th

I will be moving to West Bend very soon. I am very excited to meet all of you! This week I have been planning a few upcoming forums that will take place after the holidays. I think everyone will really enjoy the topics and the speakers coming soon. Also this week, I have finished a rough social media plan for the Washington County Democrats through May 2016.

In the coming weeks, I hope to have a rough social media plan through the elections of November 2016. Along with that, I have been actively posting on our Twitter and Instagram pages. We have new followers on both pages. (Click on the “links” in the column to the right to view the latest news and be sure to “join” us.)
