Weekly Update from Our Field Organizer, Autumn Linsmeier

LinsmeierHello Everyone,

I hope you are doing well and excited for the Presidential Primary/Caucus season to start—I know I am.

Last week I continued making calls to invite people to our upcoming events that are listed above. I made about 700 phone calls last week. Along with that, I planned out the “Social Media” Training Sessions and I look forward to seeing many of you there!

I also started posting at UW-Washington County to recruit some college students for a “College Dems/Young Dems Group.” We want to get as many young people involved as we can!

If you know of any college students or young adults in the area who might be interested in helping get this group started, please have them contact me or give me their contact information!

If you have any questions or concerns, contact me at autumlinsmeier@gmail.com or 920-973-5521.

Best,

Autumn Linsmeier

Voucher Schools

In recent weeks, the Republican majority froze funding to public schools—while expanding private school vouchers.

This is NOT good for our education system.

Now, the Republican majority is trying to push legislation through that limits when school districts can hold a referendum, among other things. Bills like these should not become law in Wisconsin because not only do they will hurt the public school system, but they also hurt the children attending these schools.
