Voucher Schools

In recent weeks the Republican majority froze funding to public schools while expanding the private school vouchers. Now, the Republican majority is trying to push legislation that limits when districts can hold referendums, among other things.

To read about these education concerns go to this article and be sure to contact your state legislators.

Weekly Update from Our Field Organizer, Autumn Linsmeier

LinsmeierHello Everyone,

I hope everyone is excited for the Democratic Presidential Debate coming to Wisconsin!

Last week, I continued making calls to invite people to our upcoming events that are listed below. I have done a lot of posting notices at UW-Washington County to recruit college students for a “College Dems/Young Dems Group.”

If you know of any interested college students or young adults in the area who might be interested in helping to get this group started, please have them contact me—or give me their contact information!

We want to get as many young people involved as we can!

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please contact me at autumnlinsmeier@gmail.com or 920-973-5521.

Best,

Autumn Linsmeier
