Emily Greene from the Youth and Family Project will be joining us to tell us more about the services this organization offers members of our community. A lot of these important programs are unknown to our community, and yet help support it on a daily basis. This is a great organization to learn more about.

Wednesday is also a great opportunity to bring in a donations for the Youth and Family Project. We are currently collecting items for their newly renovated family reconnection center, which allows for supervised family visitations in a homelike atmosphere. Items they could use include:

* child-safe cleaning supplies
* paper goods (napkins, plates, paper towels, plastic ware)
* pots/pans
* cookie sheets
* measuring cups
* aprons
* dish soap
* other kitchen needs
(These items can be gently used – well, except the napkins, plates, paper towels, and plastic ware…)

We will also plan for our October events including the Spaghetti Dinner. The more voices at the table, the better our decisions will be! Join us on Wednesday!
