Wed., March 8th – Postcards for the Ides of Trump: 6:30 – 8 PM

We will be writing and designing postcards to President Trump as part of a nationwide event known as “The Ides of Trump”. The idea is to flood the White House with postcards voicing displeasure with the job the President is doing so far. We will provide postcards and stamps as well as beverages. Saturday, March 11th – ACLU Resistance Training Livestream: 3-5:30

On March 11, the ACLU will be broadcasting a training on how to resist Trump’s policies. This broadcast will work to engage and unite grassroots volunteers across the country to organize in order to take fight against Donald Trump’s hate-based policies. Join us at the office where will be project the training session on the large screen and work to support each other in this important fight.

(You don’t have to be a member of the Wash. Co. Dems to attend! All welcome!)

We have a lot to talk about as we continue to actively resist Trump and his hate-filled agenda. Come join us and be part of the solution!

A Day Without Washington County Women’s March – Wednesday, March 8th: 3:30 – 5:30

Join men and women from across Washington County as they march in solidarity with the International Day Without Women on March 8th. Help raise awareness of the important role women play in the economics and well being of our state, nation, and world. This march will take place from 3:30 – 5:30 at the NW corner of Paradise Drive and Main Street. Bring your own sign or use one of the signs already created by the organizers of this great event.

Sensenbrenner is Coming to Washington County – Take Advantage of this Opportunity to Hold Him Accountable!

Congressman Sensenbrenner’s Town Hall Meetings have been overflowing as of late with people concerned about the destructive policies being discussed and passed in Washington. Come be a part of this important discussion and let others know that even in Washington County, there is no such thing as a free pass. Here’s a list of his upcoming meetings in Washington County. Executive Board member Lynn Carey will be targeting the Germantown meeting on March 11th. Please let me know if you’d like to lead a group at any of the other meetings!
